Product care

Always store your jewellery in the original box or separately from other jewellery and metal items. I also recommend that you remove your jewellery while gardening, washing dishes, playing sport, or doing other activities that might cause it to be scratched or damaged.

Cleaning
It’s best to get your jewellery professionally cleaned at least once a year. Each of my handmade jewellery pieces comes with specific care instructions found on this website. Simply click on the piece you have purchased and go to Care. Please contact me to book in a clean.

Maintenance
Like servicing your bicycle or car, your special piece of jewellery needs maintenance to help keep it functioning and looking its best. Over time, natural wear and tear can see metal wear away or gemstones knocked loose.

Regular maintenance might include getting your piece resurfaced and professionally cleaned and having stones checked to ensure they’re still secure in their settings. I recommend you get your jewellery serviced at least once a year. Please contact me to arrange a service.

Shipping

I take great care to ensure your piece arrives safely. All items requiring freight are carefully and securely packaged. I am not responsible for postage loss, damage or delay.

Domestic
Completed orders will be dispatched within 1- 3 business days and should take between 2-5 business days to arrive, depending on your location. Items are sent via express post with signature on delivery. Each item will have a tracking number that will be emailed to you and allows tracking via the Australia Post website.

International
Completed orders will be sent via Australia Post with tracking. Delivery should take approximately 10 business days, depending on your location. Customers are responsible for any custom or import taxes incurred according to their local jurisdiction. Please contact your customs office for more information.

Pick up
If you are in Melbourne, you’re welcome to pick up your order in person. Please contact me to organise a time to collect from my studio.

Pricing
Pricing is in Australian dollars (AUD) and includes GST. Please contact me if you prefer to pay by direct deposit.

International orders may incur custom or import taxes; the buyer is liable for these fees. Please contact your customs office for more information.

Orders
All products are made to order. Once an order has been placed and payment made, you are committing to purchase. Cancellation of orders will not be accepted without immediate email contact with Michelle Cangiano and her consideration of the circumstances. Once an order is placed for a custom make, it cannot be exchanged.

Notification of changes
Repricing, removing items or changes to terms may occur from time to time. By using michellecangiano.com.au, you are accepting these terms.

Returns and exchanges

Refunds and exchanges are only offered where goods are deemed faulty. If your item is faulty, please email michelle@michellecangiano.com.au and ensure the item is returned within seven days. It must be returned in the packaging it arrived in or similarly safely and securely packed. The cost and care of return freight is the customer’s responsibility.
